My Love For Lashes!

I haven't always been that interested in the hype that surrounds the glamour around fake eyelashes but when I was forced to experiment with them for a trial on myself I immediatley fell in love. "What were these genuis strips?," I thought not being able to take my eyes of myself in the mirror. I was hooked.....

Now I already have pretty long eyelashes that do not require the helping from the wonderful miracle worker that are the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers, so why am I infuatated with false lashes??? Don't get me wrong I do not wear them everyday but I'm always eyelash shopping whether it be for me or my kit. I have come to a solution.... I love doing eye makeup and anything that makes this process of beautification more interesting I'm SOLD! Also do not be deceived my friends take a look in your favourite magazine, it's filled with celebrities and supermodels, why do they look so pretty sometimes, their eyes sparkle.... Yep you got... false eyelashes! A great mascara can do the trick as well be but choose wisely because remember all the mascara TV ads are filmed with lash inserts. Tricks of the trades eh...

How to apply false lashes in 6 easy steps:

1. Remove strip from packet, if using individual lashes use tweezers

2. Apply a small and even amount of eyelash glue along the edge of the lashes

3. Wait about 10-20 seconds to the glue to become tacky otherwise the lashe will slide out of place when applied.

4. Apply lashes to lash line, never on the skin. Individuals, do the same with tweezers.

5. Press strip lashes in place for a few seconds

6. BOOM! BAD GAL LASHES!
